I was commissioned to do an editorial illustration for the Forbes Magazine CZ about the Metaverse, NFTs and Blockchain tech. I tried to blur the border between the physical and digital space, taking references from the Minecraft worlds, the pixelated avatars and graphics often used for NFTs and gaming. The 80's eclectic aesthetics should resemble the old feeling of benign excitement about the new technology.
